“After lunch, before the Asr prayer, I visited Common Man Coffee Bar & Roasters near Chinatown (around a 15-minute walk away). The place has a bar-style atmosphere, but they serve high-quality coffee as well. They do offer alcohol, so Muslim visitors should stay mindful. Despite that, the coffee experience itself is very solid. The staff were very helpful, informative, and knowledgeable about Singapore. They even shared recommendations about must-visit and underrated places around the city, which was really appreciated—especially for travelers. That day, they were using their CMCR blend (40% Guatemala Oriente Washed, 40% Piendamo Colombia Washed, 30% Ethiopia Muje Mesina Washed) for my café latte. The flavor was medium chocolaty, similar to milk chocolate, with a smooth body, medium acidity like fresh red apples, and a natural, balanced sweetness. They’re using a Victoria Arduino Eagle machine and Victoria grinders, which really helps make the brew smooth, consistent, and well-balanced. You can tell they pay close attention to quality. Overall, it’s a great spot for a short break while exploring Chinatown. Definitely worth checking out if you’re nearby ☕😎”

“Great Cafe with food breakfast & coffee, with exceptional service. Food is excellent, we ordered Turkish Breakfast, Ox Cheek Eggs Benedict, and Prawn Aglio Olio, and were satisfied with our order. Filtered Coffee of my choice was El Diviso from Huila Colombia, with variety of Tabi & Java (Washed). The coffee is super clean and bright, mild acidity, very light body, with the notes of Floral & Berry, and a tea-like finished. Service is super attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxing & cozy.”
