“A brilliant find. In Singapore for a conference and I needed good food (has a salmon soup which was delicious) and a lovely environment where I could read my novel and relax over dinner. Loved the place - books and magazines everywhere (including a book exchange), people having real conversations, others reading. This place is a treasure. Coffee was good too.”

“We came at about 8pm and the place was peaceful with jazzy music in the background. Perfect ambience. We ordered the Crumbs of Curiosity Chocolate cake, chicken-in-wonderland (grilled chicken) and Pulled porky & Bess burger. Food was absolutely perfect, fries and wedges were fried to perfection with just the right amount of seasoning. Chicken was smoky and juicy, while the pulled pork burger had a lot of meat. The cake was not overly sweet and you can tell that it is made of good quality chocolate. Service was impeccable and the staff were very polite. 10/10 will come again. Recommended if you wish to hotdesk here as they do have multiple power plugs around.”

“My favourite cafe in Singapore. They play wonderful music, have perfect lighting design, serve good coffee and properly cooked food that’s not overpriced. Everyone is either quietly reading or having their meal. Most importantly, their service is excellent. I was blessed to be served by Avis who takes her job seriously and brings a smile to all of her customers.”

“Hidden gem is an understatement. Very friendly and wholesome staff with a menu that is more extensive then you realize (didn't try bc too sweet for me but they have a fresh ice cream station too!). I've tried coffee, tea, and smoothie items, breakfast, soup, other dinner-type mains --- all was good. Only knock is that a main breakfast dish is quite expensive for the value, but if we're being honest it's pretty standard for SG pricing. In addition to street front patio seating, typical tables indoor, but also couch and lounge style seating which is a relief from typical cafe style seating. They have a scan-to-order, pay-later QR concept that is both convenient and frankly trustworthy. Wifi sometimes gets overloaded and/or hard to connect, but even then still rare to have issues. Different stages of busy and loudness throughout the day. Book shelves + mags everywhere for quick literature options, although I only come to lock-in on laptop work. With so many places to choose from, I'll probably stop-in here more than I should when in town around my meetings ;)”

“Visiting here the 1st time on last Sunday . I love the vibe here , where I can sit outside without feeling heat. Thanks to the big ceiling fan .:)) The mocha was so so, but the apple cake is nice , not so sweet . The waiter also came to ask me about that sweetness level , and that’s exactly the thing I intended to say . Definitely I will come again .”
