Almost Famous Bar

“I have now been to Almost Famous Bar twice, and it has impressed me both times. It is a small bar, but that is part of the charm. The space has a really cool minimalist feel, with lots of concrete, steel and grey tones, which gives it a modern and slightly industrial vibe without feeling cold or unwelcoming. It feels stylish, relaxed and a bit different from the usual bar setup. The beer selection is excellent and was one of the main reasons I came back. There is a really strong range on offer, including some great choices from Garage Project from New Zealand, which was a very nice surprise to see. It is always a good sign when a bar has clearly put thought into what it serves, rather than just offering the standard predictable options. The food was also very good, with tasty choices that matched the drinks well. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. They helped make the whole experience even better, and it felt like they genuinely knew the drinks list and cared about customers having a good time. It can be a little noisy, but that also adds to the atmosphere and energy of the place. Because the bar is quite small, I would strongly recommend making a reservation if there is more than one or two of you. “loved the vibes! there’s a good spread of craft beer, cocktails and unique drinks at reasonable prices, and overall, a really comfortable place for a casual meetup over drinks. we also ordered the fish skin and kimchi loaded fries which were both great snacks to munch on. the staff were very friendly and attentive too! my friends and I like the gummies, so they even brought a little stash over which we really appreciated ☺️ would highly recommend coming here for a casual pint, or a fun meetup!”

“Started our Saturday evening at Almost Famous in CHIJMES 🍻✨ My SO went for the Mash Gang Stoop Light Non-ALC Pilsner — light, crisp, and refreshing without the alcohol. Perfect if you want the beer experience but still keep it easy. I had a Pintail beer, smooth and easy to drink, great for easing into the weekend mood. As for my god sis… I can’t quite remember what she ordered, but judging from her smile, it must have been good 😆 Nothing too wild — just good drinks, chill vibes, and quality time to kick off a Saturday night right.
