“Nestled in a quiet neighbourhood sits the relaxed and reliably good restaurant/cafe, Boronas. Our first visit didn’t disappoint. We over ordered because our eyes were bigger than our stomachs: - Huevos Rancheros - Mortadella Pesto burrata - pistachio pastry - apple / figs pastry - arepa de choclo con todo - Chispa (drink) - white coffee Everything is fantastic but I strongly recommend Arepas, Huevos rancheros and the mortadella. I loved the arepa de choclo - has a corn base that you can actually taste and goes so well with the rest of the ingredients in the dish (we added avo and Parma ham) This is great for a small family, couples brunch, a bit of work, or a read. Will come back.”

“walked past this interesting colombian food kiosk in asia square on its day of opening and was enticed by the pictures of the petal shaped bread on the menu. the friendly chef called out COME BACK EARLY NEXT TIME WE SELL OUT FAST so we did come back again and scored! alas, rye rolls with a mushroom maple glaze and smoked butter ($8). the perfect symphony in your mouth!!! the bread had a bit of tang/earthiness which complemented the sweet glaze, and of course who can resist smoked butter? the bread was also served warm and cottony my friend recognised the chef from Latido, while i remembered this was the taste of the bread at Preludio where i dined at many moons ago. and i recall being so enraptured by their signature bread that i dabaoed back bread for family :) so glad that high-end restaurant chefs are making their bread more easily accessible (since bread is the best part of any meal hehe).”

“The Colombian bread is well-baked and looks very appealing. It has a distinct aroma. The taste of the bread reminds us a bit of vegemite, a bit salty, but combined with the butter, it creates a delightful blend of sweet, salty, and buttery flavors. However, this bread is quite ordinary, and considering the price point, not sure it will atrract to buy again. Especially since there are many other delicious breads available in Singapore. It has to be extra ordinary. Worth to try once for sure, something different”

“Great burgers and exceptional coffee are available from our new neighborhood gem Boronas. Outside seating for our pets with great fans keeping us cool.whilst we enjoy the quality food. Would love to see matcha on the menu for those who don't drink coffee”

“I was meeting a friend nearby today and insisted we swing by to try it. When I got there in the morning, they already had their famous bread from the main restaurant, so of course I ordered it — but whoa, $8 per piece! 😨 Besides the bread, they also have sandwiches and rice dishes for lunch (didn’t try those). Verdict: the bread is tasty, but it’d be even better warmed up. So if you buy it to go, heat it up at home! Delicious? Yes. Worth $8? Hmm… I’ll let you decide.”
