“Food is alright but rather pricey.
The cajun chicken was good - tender and flavourful - but for its price, I’d hoped the side salad would be a little more impressive. My husband got the pancakes but they dry and somewhat underwhelming… I suppose that’s why it’s under “guilt free” 😭 If you’re looking for something guilt free, I guess this would fit what you’re looking for…
I liked the interior - nice and spacious, and the green was very calming.”

“The linguine is super delicious and flavorful. The Comte cheese with the sourdough combo, coupled with the hummus and ham is just right. In fact, the hummus is best one we are so far. Excellent place. A must come! Service staff Han is very patient and friendly too.”

“This place is a gem 🌟Food and service are so good! Every dish is stellar and ingredients are very fresh.
Staff are also very accommodating and helpful. Will be back.
Only thing to take note is that this restaurant is nestled inside a retail shop. So it’s easy to miss it. You have to head into the retail store to find this restaurant.”

“When I first visited La Veranda, it was for afternoon tea. I was drawn to the quiet charm of its interior. We tried the Fuji Yama green tea, and its crisp taste stayed with us. Since then, we have often returned on slow Saturday afternoons, with a book in hand and soft conversation drifting between us.
Today I came back for lunch. The service by Han was immaculate, and the food left an impression.
My wife and I ordered the avocado tartine from the all-day breakfast, a pot of Fuji Yama tea as always, and a sunny-side-up egg on the side that was done with care. We shared the Le Poulet Cajun. The chicken was tender, lightly grilled, and it opened our appetite further. After that, we ordered the steak frites, certain it would be just as good.
It felt like a perfect lunch on a rainy Monday afternoon. My day off, my second wedding anniversary with my wife and nothing else I needed.”

“Attended a net working group at La Veranda this morning, nestled within House of AnLi Interiors. Such a beautiful cafe and I love housewares and homewares! Only had a small skinny cappuccino but it tasted oh so wonderful. The waiter was so friendly, he also gave us little dishes of gingerbread cookies to go with our coffee and tea, such a delightful place, I’ll be back for brunch very soon.”
