“A standout, phenomenal experience. The service was outstanding from start to finish, we were warmly welcomed and had attentive service throughout the evening. The setting is spectacular, and feels surprisingly cozy and intimate for such a massive hotel. And the food. It’s a meal I’ll be thinking about for a long time. The lobster with chayote and chili granita was a remarkably perfect combination of fresh flavors and textures, and the chicken tom kha soup was wonderfully rich and comforting. Even the amuse bouches were delightful and packed with flavor. The drinks can’t be missed either, I thoroughly enjoyed the mango sticky rice cocktail. The price was more than reasonable for the quantity and quality of food as well. If I find myself in Macao again, the Mews will be my first stop. Perhaps for the tasting menu next time.”

“The Mews is a Michelin-awarded Thai restaurant in Macau. The food is delicious, but the flavors may not be as intense as authentic Thai food in Thailand. Overall, the taste is good, with just the right amount of spiciness. The restaurant uses very high-quality ingredients. If you are looking for authentic Thai food, I highly recommend this restaurant!!!!”

“Everything was absolutely perfect, from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, a member of the reception team presented the menu to us earlier in the day and kindly helped us secure a reservation for the very same evening. All of this was done with exceptional warmth and professionalism. Upon arrival, the setting was wonderful, the secret door, the atmosphere, and the staff, who were incredibly kind and attentive. Once seated, we were taken care of beautifully throughout the entire experience. The experience itself was simply outstanding. The soup was delicious — so much so that we ordered it twice. The signature dish and the wagyu were both excellent. The value for money is remarkable. For a fine-dining restaurant, the prices are more than fair. We received particularly thoughtful attention from the staff, especially Mint Xin Chen and her colleagues, who were exceptionally kind and caring. The service was flawless: a waitress prepared the dishes with great delicacy and precision. We are European and speak English at an approximate level, yet we experienced no communication issues at all. Their kindness and attentiveness immediately made us feel comfortable. Impeccable service, exceptional and flavorful food, all set in a typically Thai environment that truly made us feel transported. I will never understand people who leave negative reviews simply because they do not enjoy a certain type of cuisine, or because a birthday surprise did not go exactly as expected, without judging the overall experience. If you are not open to discovering new flavors, perhaps it is better to remain within your comfort zone. Be open to foreign cuisines. Avoid criticizing a dish simply because it does not suit your personal taste. It is unfortunate to see one-star reviews given to this establishment due to a lack of knowledge or open-mindedness. For us, it was a perfect 20/20. Thank you once again to the entire team. We will definitely return ❤️”
