“Staffs are friendly, food are delicious and have more details like food combination, herb and spices used in the sauce, the seasonal taste of pork belly and chicken chop and even the rice, garlic, salt on scrambled eggs. All good, Price at the high side. This place is Instagramable. Coffee is good, with some small details within the cup. I just want to drink a bit quickly to discover how the bear will look like. :)”

“Came across this place online and the atmosphere seemed not bad, and most reviews were about their pastries. It was our first try here and no doubt the atmosphere is cozy and chilling. The staff is very friendly and attentive, but the food wasn’t to our expectation. We don’t aim for high-end and superb quality, but overall it was mediocre for us. For the mains we ordered, the cod fish was rather chewy (the kind of chewiness from frozen food), which we understand since no fresh cod is caught in SG, but this was chewier than what I had before. Taste-wise it was decent. We added Brussels sprouts as a side, which were overly charred/fried compared to what we had before in different restaurants. The sauce wasn’t that bad with balsamic vinegar, raisins, and crunchy garlic bits, but the overly charred Brussels sprouts were more bitter and left an “overburnt” taste rather than the actual Brussels sprouts flavor. As for the pastries, unsure if it was because we didn’t request to warm them up, but the Kouign Amann still had sugar on top that could be bitten into instead of being melted and caramelised like the ones we had at other places, though the puffiness was great. The Matcha Mochi Frangipane barely tasted or looked like it had mochi inside. The matcha paste infused with white chocolate was rather sweet the more we ate. Coffee was ok but for us lacking in aroma. We will probably visit again for the atmosphere and beverages, but probably not for the food.”

“An aesthetically pleasing cafe in the corner of Chijmes. The Cherry Tomato Guacamole Focaccia Toast tasted as good as it looks. Order a chicken patty on the side to go with the toast but it was meh. Can never resist tater tots, which came with a lovely mentaiko sauce. The Smashed Burger with Beetroot burger was good, I just wished it came with some fries on the side. In general, rather pricey for the food quality but I guess you are also paying for the ambience and location. Service was excellent, friendly and prompt. A lovely place to chill over brunch.”

“Very delicious, highly recommended tater tots with hot honey butter! I tried rosti with scrambled eggs, tater tots with hot honey butter, and crème brulee french toast, my companions and I all agreed that the tater tots was the highlight of the meal, tater tots were fried perfectly, but the wow factor was the hot honey butter dip, it was otherworldly addictive. Rosti was a little disappointing, but the accompanying food that came together with it was superb, especially scrambled eggs (one of the best I’ve had - it’s that good), and the pumpkin. Creme brulee french toast was forgettable. But all of that were presented nicely, and portion pretty generous. The place was nice too.”

“Located inside the beautiful CHIJMES compound, Dough is such a great spot! The food was super tasty — everything we ordered was flavorful and well done. The staff were friendly, attentive, and really professional, which made the whole experience even better. I also loved the interior — it’s modern, cozy, and has a really nice vibe that makes you want to stay longer. Whether you’re here for brunch, coffee, or a meal with friends, this place hits the mark. Highly recommend if you’re around the area!”
