“Tiong Bahru Bakery was one of my favorite food stops in Singapore. The croissants are honestly some of the best I’ve had, and the overall selection of pastries and desserts is amazing. Coffee was great too.
One thing you shouldn’t miss is the gochujang chili cheese twist—it’s a must try and it’s seriously delicious. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and the service was quick and friendly. I came in around 11am and still got an indoor table to myself.
If you’re around Tiong Bahru, this place is definitely worth stopping by.”

“I visited Tiong Bahru Bakery around 9 a.m., and it was relatively quiet, making it easy to browse and order. There are plenty of seats, including additional seating further inside the shop, so finding a place to sit wasn’t a problem.
I ordered the following items:
・Croissant
・Pain au Chocolat
・Raspberry & Vanilla Cream Ribbon
・Banoffee Pain Suisse
・Canele
The Raspberry & Vanilla Cream Ribbon looked very cute, and the raspberry sauce inside added a nice sweet-and-tangy flavor that made it especially delicious. The Banoffee Pain Suisse was rich and indulgent, with a generous filling of chocolate and banana sauce that was very satisfying.
Both the croissant and pain au chocolat had a great buttery aroma and tasted consistently good. The canele had a nicely firm exterior with a moist interior.
Overall, everything was high quality, and it’s a great bakery for breakfast or a light brunch.”

“Lovely little place, very tasty. Lots on offer as well.
I arrived about 8:30 and a few of the tables had gone. Its now 9 am and most of them have gone now.
There are some small tables and chairs outside but the majority are inside where it is air conditioned.
All the baked goods are freshly made and you can have them hot or cold. The almond croissant is the best I've had outside of Paris.
24 SGD For 2 baked goods and a chai tea.
I would definitely come back here.”

“What I loved about the place, aside from the food, are the super friendly staff 🥹 they’re super warm and nice and accommodating.
Nothing so special about the Pain Au, just the usually good quality one. Hojicha was also good! So many options ❤️🥰”

“I enjoy coming to Tiong Bahru Bakery during lunch time — it’s air-conditioned, there are always seats available, and the back end of the café tends to be relatively quiet, making it a comfortable spot to unwind.
The food is not too bad; their croissant is pretty tasty with a nice buttery aroma and flaky texture. Drinks, however, are slightly on the expensive side and taste fairly normal, nothing particularly special.
Overall, I like visiting this place alone, as the ambience is calm and pleasant, perfect for a peaceful lunch or some personal downtime.”
